Bill Davison brings to The Davison Group an extraordinary breadth of experience throughout Pennsylvania and the nation, in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, and in education. A highly skilled strategist and motivator, he imbues every project, regardless of subject area or scope, with the same commitment to outstanding performance, client service, and meticulous attention to detail. Mr. Davison sets high expectations and has personally directed nearly all Davison Group projects. He is the firm’s executive coach and is the key subject matter expert for business process reviews, team-building, strategy development, and mission/vision development and clarification.

Mr. Davison’s portfolio includes nearly 20 years’ experience in county courts and county government, with special expertise in criminal justice and child support. He established and was the first program coordinator for the Criminal Justice Program at DeSales University, Allentown, PA, and served as project director for training and user services for two statewide court automation projects in the Commonwealth.

He has a longstanding interest in the ongoing quest for excellence and innovation in education. Under his leadership, The Davison Group pioneered the use of benchmarking in Pennsylvania schools and has worked with school districts to improve student performance and develop strategies for identifying and helping students at risk of falling through the cracks.

Mr. Davison holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and completed postgraduate studies at Rutgers University.

Angela Bell has been with The Davison Group for more than ten years.  She brings to every project the benefit of extensive project management experience in a variety of sectors including community relations and marketing.

Her work with The Davison Group has ranged from strategic planning for Criminal Justice Advisory Boards to business process reviews in the court/criminal justice, municipal government, education, and nonprofit sectors. She had lead responsibility for the writing and production of user manuals for two statewide systems projects, serving thousands of Appellate and Common Pleas Court users. From 1998 through 2007 she wrote, designed, and edited a broadly circulated newsletter for the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.

An award-winning writer/producer/editor, she is particularly skilled at finding creative, effective, and efficient internal and external communication solutions.

She is a Penn State graduate and served on the adjunct faculty of Keystone College.

Mr. Barth is The Davison Group’s lead in the design, implementation, and evaluation of systems testing, training, and user support tools. He is a skilled and experienced project manager who is known for his innovative, cutting edge approach. As the team leader for a nationally recognized organizational transformation project, he conceived and developed prototype multimedia software designed to help project participants better understand the nature and implications of a truly collaborative effort.

In complex systems projects, Mr. Barth ably translates the technology into tools and language that users can understand. He constantly looks for exciting new ways to use technology to create dynamic training vehicles that remain relevant long after handover.

Mr. Barth infuses every Davison Group engagement with expert knowledge of the interpersonal connections that make teams of people work together more effectively and with greater satisfaction. His ability to identify individual talents and learning styles makes him extraordinarily adept at the “people side” of any project, whether a highly technical systems project or a less technical operations review.

Mr. Barth has served on the adjunct faculty of Albright College. A graduate of the University of Chicago, he also attended the New School in New York City.

Jonathan Zuck, PMP, is a skilled team leader, master’s prepared mechanical engineer, and programmer/analyst for both client/server and mainframe systems. As a Manufacturing Team Manager, he supervised a department of over 30 technicians, leading daily meetings and coaching employees on both technical and personnel issues. Mr. Zuck has an innate ability to identify, operationalize, and troubleshoot technical problems. He led consulting efforts for Y2K testing of a mainframe insurance claims processing system, developing testing procedures and converting non-compliant code.

He is expert at evaluating and recommending changes in business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, can work at both strategic and tactical levels with equal ease, and has extensive project experience.

Mr. Zuck holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Virginia, and is a certified Project Management Professional.

Art Amann, EdD’s distinguished career in criminal justice included positions as Director of Adult Probation and Parole and Warden and Director of Corrections for Erie County. He was among the founders of Erie’s Weed & Seed Program and facilitated the county’s Criminal Justice Advisory Board for many years. Art has served the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency in a variety of capacities and in 2000 graduated from the National Institute of Corrections’ Executive Excellence Program. The director of the Mercyhurst College Public Safety Institute and Police Academy, Art holds an undergraduate degree in education from Slippery Rock University, a master’s degree in corrections from Gannon University, and a doctorate in education from Nova Southeastern University. His postgraduate specialization was in the training and education of criminal justice leaders.
